Their smoke alarm/building alarm goes off quite often. It has been going off for 30 minutes so far and it’s almost 11:30pm. It’s extremely loud. I’m not sure the residents sleep well during this. I know the surrounding neighbors don’t.
The best decision our family made 9 months ago was moving our loved one into Emma and Peter's care from a nearby facility taken over by a global private equity firm that cut staff and service levels with predictable outcomes. Our loved one is now thriving in an environment that she sometimes believes is a fancy hotel. Lacamas' staff are attentive and supportive of patients and family. Emma and Peter are true partners who have earned our utmost confidence. As others have said, can't recommend enough.

I lived with my dad for almost two years (and cared for since 2022), and eventually it became time for a change. He was starting to forget who I was.
