After he delivered my son, I chose a new practice, much further out of my way, just to avoid him. My c-section was traumatic and recovery was horrible. My other two sections were much easier. Miscarried my 1st pregnancy a decade ago. the way they went about all of it just made the situation 10 times worse. Nobody would let me talk to a doctor. Labouda was insulting. I had tests on a Friday and they said they'd call me that night. When I called the office they said I wouldn't get the results until the following monday. Labouda told me it's a good thing I miscarried because atleast I won't have to raise a child with down syndrome. I’m a critical care nurse within the AHN system. I met with this provider today for second OB appointment. There was a misunderstanding that I thought I was suppose to get an ultrasound done today, that didn’t happen but I was upset about it. But his behavior in the room was absolutely dismissive. My husband came and he stared and talked towards my husband the entirety of the appointment. Dr. Labuda was my first gynecologist years ago and I will never forget how he completely ignored my symptoms. He treated my pain like it was made up and completely dismissed me. I have recently been diagnosed with endometriosis and I may have been able to receive treatment sooner had he not ignored me!!!
My physical visit with Dr. Labuda was today but I was contacted by him a week ago to go over what my needs were, what symptoms I was experiencing and some of the options that we could explore when I met him a week later. His care was EXCEPTIONAL, on the phone and certainly in person. I chose him after a particularly horrific experience with another AHN doctor and he redeemed my faith in being cared for as a woman with gynecological needs. THANKS DR. LABUDA! I am so utterly grateful.
