One of the worst experiences I've had in healthcare. I got a new job which required me to get a drug screen at LabCorp. I received the registration on Monday and went in to get it done in the afternoon. They do not advertise that they stop employer drug screens at 1pm, nor do they explain it. When I got there on Monday they said they are not doing drug screenings anymore today, and I thought that meant that their walk-ins were full. That was it. Disorganized and chaotic. Despite having an appt they would not see me because their system was down and I needed a PAPER authorization. I wish Providence had not switched providers because these guys suck.
Wow, I don't understand why there are negative reviews. This lab is in a nice medical building, it's easy to find, there's plenty of parking, and it's clean and well kept. The best thing is that I am sometimes difficult to draw blood from but, I had the easiest blood draw ever, I didn't even feel any pain at all. The phlebotomist who served me is named Stephanie, she used a straight 21 gage vaccutainer needle to draw several tubes of blood and it was so painless and easy!
