Absolutely the best! I had a long journey with a few issues until I was able to hold my baby girl in my arms. During labor I developed a uterus infection and my kidneys went downhill. The incredible medical team kept a close eye on me and baby. I was offered a consultation with a doctor in case of an unplanned C-section who walked me patiently through all steps and informed me that if I needed one there would not time for explanation. Worst experience of my entire life. I still don't know what happened and to top it off my medical records on file aren't even mine! DO NOT HAVE YOUR KID HERE! They do not have your best interest in mind.
I had a deeply upsetting experience at Kaiser Labor and Delivery. After transferring to recovery unit surrounding informed consent after the birth of my baby. I had clearly expressed that I did not want the Vitamin K injection and planned to administer oral Vitamin K drops. Despite this, I was repeatedly pressured, frightened, and made to feel irresponsible during an extremely vulnerable time just hours after giving birth.
