Daughter has spent a month here and just had her twins. Staff is fantastic. She feel safe and babies are doing great
My delivery was within the last year FYI. Some nurses are highly compassionate and professional and others seem to lack a great deal of maturity, ability for empathy and/or interpersonal skills. I could see how some people would have flawless experiences interacting with some of the nurses and most of my primary nurses. The Kaiser system of one midwife (or other practitioner) in the unit for ALL deliveries lead to a greatly different experience than I've had elsewhere. frustrating. If I could give two separate reviews for the staff that helped before delivery and the staff that helped afterwards it would be night and day, initially; the first staff was amazing, above and beyond super helpful, super friendly, super informative, even just walking through the area everybody was so welcoming warm and happy BUT... we had the baby and got moved, and we got a creepy nurse I'm going to call her creepy because she gave me the creepiest vibes I'm talking racist Criminal Minds status vibes. she was s... read more
Gave birth at L&D staff was great, hospital policies are NOT. Had my 6 th baby, per policy I was given oxytocin and Methergine shot( which has very scary side effects) to “stop the bleeding”. Oxytocin would have been enough, and looking at my very normal blood loss I shouldn’t have had neither. Blood loss was just a little over 500 milliliters of which is considered NORMAL. I was dehydrated and they do not give you IV fluids(per policy) , as they used too. (Setting you up for a disaster) I am home now and feel awe full. Than... read more
