Boyfriend had hernia surgery just over a month after having surgery for prostate cancer!! 2 surgeries within 35 days! Prostate was laproscopic and hernia had to be open because of the new scar tissue. His pain was much worse after the hernia surgery and he had to take oxycodone for pain management. Dr. Hunn would not approve my FMLA paperwork so that I could at least stay with him for 1 week after surgery. He had his prostate follow up and his hernia follow up appts that same week. Dr Hunn took care of my mother in 2020 and now he is taking care of me. He is very professional and very knowledgeable.
I was in severe pain and couldn't eat solid foods for over a month. After running 4 tests Dr Hunn's nurse told me that the Dr said there was nothing wrong with me. My HIDA scan showed an over active gallbladder. I got a second opinion and had my gallbladder removed and am feeling so much better.
Had a colonoscope done which isn't a big deal but someone close to me had their gallbladder taken out. Dealt with him both ways. He did great and is a nice guy besides that. Would not hesitate to go to him again.
