First time to use Labcorp. I usually use the Quest that is in the same building, and I book Quest through Jason Health. Other than the very cramped and spartan waiting area, I have been extremely satisfied with Quest. However, it did not offer the test I needed. Booked this with Labcorp test online through Walk-in Lab, went to the Labcorp website and booked appointment. 8:15 appointment, got there at 8:10, checked in both by phone and kiosk (just to make sure), I was taken back a couple of minutes early, out before 8:20. Taking the "care" out of healthcare. No receptionist on site. Checking consists of three kiosks, two did not work. Had to ask a billing question so I called their customer support number. Overly complex phone tree and a 6 minute wait to reach a human (I think she was). I asked for a cash price versus using insurance. She told me to call Good Faith Estimate to get a cash price. I was a couple minutes late for my appointment and they still took me back right away. The whole appointment only took ten minutes. Blood draw was quick and painless!
