Like many others, Labcorp screwed me too. I got a large bill for a couple of measly tests that my insurance did not cover (shocker) I call them and say "Hey - I am cash customer, can i get the cash discount?" and the rep said yes. She lowered my bill by $200 but failed to mention you had to pay it all up front and no payment plan...I got on a payment plan and was shocked when i got an email stating the full, original, and inflated pricing... Double bills for one lab test - one as LABCORP BURLINGTON, the other as LAB CORP OF AMERICA. Insurance denies one and pays the other. They keep billing for the one denied. Just gave up after 3 months arguing with them and paid it.
Contacted LabCorp for help with a bill that had not been covered by my insurance due to incorrect coding ny my specialist and the local lab, spoke with a lovely lady named Diana. Diana heard me out without interrupting, did a bit of research, and took care if my problem. Admittedly, my experience might be rare in today's world, but I think people like Diana just might be rare, too, so I am very thankful she took my call. I am extremely frustrated with Labcorp and their online billing and patient portal system. I received a bill and tried to simply pay it online, but the system keeps saying it cannot find my bill. If patients are being directed to use the website for payments, then the website should actually work. The portal is confusing, frustrating, and clearly not being monitored or tested properly.
