The phlebotomist I saw today was great! I usually have a hard time getting blood drawn and take 3-6 pokes to get anything, but she got it on the first try for my fasting labs! If you have a hard time getting blood taken, it's definitely worth the time to get drawn up by a professional; it saves you time and pain in the long run!
Apparently even though their website says that doctors can submit orders for pick-up electronically, you will need "a copy of the orders with your doctor's signature" on it to be able to do a pick-up for an order from your doctor. This is according to the individual at the Providence Willamette Falls location on 2-24-26 at 12:50 pm. I was told I would not be able to be helped without "your doctor's signature and a paper order." Also, apparently you need an appointment for any kind of pick-up as well at this location. MAKE AN APPOINTMENT!! The phlebotomist was fantastic!! I have been a blood donor for years and my veins are not the best. He found the vein and drew blood without any discomfort, didn’t realize when needle was inserted. Also had a nice conversation while doing the draw. The receptionist was friendly and polite, couldn’t ask for more from her. My only complaint was you’re expected to give a rating before you speak with anyone.
