This was the third time I’ve had my blood drawn in my life and I’m nearly 29. I know it’s not that big of a deal and is super quick, but needles bring nothing but stress, tears, anxiety and rashes to my body. Always have. From start to finish this was a very pleasant experience. First the location is convenient, highway adjacent and close to SMC. There is plenty of parking and the building is well maintained. The LabCorp office is easy to find within the professional building. The Lab Corp waiting room has plenty of comfortable chairs and an express check in kiosk to help expedite the appointment. Great experience for lab work. In and out in less than 20 minutes. Helpful and friendly staff
My doctor sent orders to the Labcorp hub in late Jan. I received several emails from Labcorp to schedule my appointment. I did, showed up at the Sherman lab and receptionist said that she had no orders for me. I told her about the emails I received from Labcorp to schedule and she said they must have been AI generated. She extremely rude and apparently didn’t want to work that day.
I had blood work done today, and it was EXCELLENT! I have always had very spidery, difficult veins and I'm used to being turned into a human pincushion, but my phlebotomist hit a vein on the first try!
