Arrived at 12:44 as a walk in. The website said walking were welcome and they close at 1pm. I was told by a representative that I would have to come back Monday and that they were closed. Not happy after fasting for 12 hours to get lab work done.
I waited over 30 minutes just for them to not even pick up the call so I had to go in person about bills even though I wasn’t feeling well. This is ridiculous. The staff are sarcastic and rude too.
This review pertains to a blood draw for my 12-month-old child. On check-in, I specifically informed the front desk that, like me, my daughter may be a challenging stick and requested an experienced phlebotomist. I was assured that the phlebotomist would not attempt a draw if they couldn’t complete it successfully, and I confirmed with her that this was my preference, as well. Because this was emergency blood work, I didn’t have the paperwork. My doctor faxed the orders to this facility three times because Labcorp kept saying they only received paperwork for a urine specimen. I waited nearly three hours and the staff kept saying the same thing. My doctor said the urinalysis and bloodwork requests were all on the same page. It was only one page. My whole day was wasted on this facility’s incompetent staff. Stay away from Labcorp.
I see that they have a lot of negative reviews, but I have had my blood drawn here many times over the past few years, and every single employee I have ever interacted with has been efficient, competent, and friendly. Yes, sometimes it is swamped and there is a long wait, but if you pay attention, you will see that they are actually moving patients through there as fast as they possibly can without compromising the service.
