This place is awesome I took my 6yr old for blood work on 10/05/2026 @ 2:15pm in and out in less than 20 minutes we didn't have an appointment the staff was great very professional the technician that drew my sons blood was amazing very professional very knowledgeable and great with kids I'm sorry I didn't get your name but but you are great at your job my son's name is Spencer and he couldn't stop talking about you. Thank everyone at LabCorp LaPlata for a great experience. 🫶
Fast service first thing this morning. The Wonderful woman who did my blood work did an amazing job! Would definitely recommend this location.
AN APPOINTMENT APPARENTLY MEANS ABSOLUTELY NOTHING AT THIS LOCATION. I made an appointment for a reason, yet I was still sitting there 45 minutes past my scheduled appointment time while the lobby continued filling up with more and more people. What made the experience even more unacceptable was watching staff spend time having conversations about food and coffee while patients were sitting there waiting to be serviced. I went here on Thursday around about 10. I checked in using the self kiosk then simply sat down. Visibly they were busy so I just patiently waited. The whole room was filled with people to the point were there was more patients sitting in their cars. Two hours passed and I decided to talk to someone, I only waited so long because I could see they were busy. I asked if I could just drink the glucose drink in the lobby and then get my blood drawn. Everyone complains about wait times I get it but your not going to always get your way here these people work so hard and are so kind and you have NO IDEA what it takes to do what they do, there’s a million other lab corps in the area give these folks some grace. Great job team everyone here is amazing! No matter how busy it gets they remain kind, best site in Charles county if you ask me…
