RE: Tehachapi Labcorp It is very disappointing that we the patients are NOT notified when the lab is closed even though we have an appointment. We the patients get phone notification of the upcoming appointment and WE verify that we will be there as scheduled.We the patients show up and the doors are locked and a paper on the door says that the lab will be closed for August 3 and August 4 and will be back on August 5. Why can't we be notified of the closure and then be directed to reschedule. This has happened many times...
Second edit: It is despicable that this lab can just be closed whenever they feel like and notify no one. I have been trying to do a three hour glucose test for almost three weeks, with appointments. I have to set up childcare for my child and plan around this long test. This is unacceptable. Edit: I think there is a staffing issue here. While actual service is great when it’s open, this location randomly closes with no notification or explanation, even if you have an appointment.
