Can’t say enough positive things about the ladies at the edgewater labcorp (in Walgreens) my 11 yr old son and I went to get blood work done and they called us back the same time (we had appointments 20 minutes apart) and quickly realized he might need a bit more support. And they were so patient and reassuring and the one phlebotomist held a fan for him and had him squeeze her hand while the other did the actual blood draw. Technician rushed appointment & did not provide understanding, compassionate care when asking questions about insurance. Will not be back
After waiting for over 40 minutes, I had to leave to make it to another appointment. I don't understand why they offer appointments if they do not even come close to seeing you at your scheduled time.
This is the first time I’ve ever felt compelled to leave a negative review, but this experience warrants it. I was stuck FOUR times for a routine blood draw, leaving me with significant swelling and multiple large bruises — and they still did not successfully collect my blood. Not once did anyone check on me, ask if I was feeling okay, or show even basic empathy while digging around in my arm. Check in was not efficient. They had to type everything in even though the doctor put it into their system. Completely incompetent technician did the blood draw for my husband. She kept on the tourniquet the entire process and had him clench his fist the whole time. His lab results were skewed.
