If I could give this place a zero I would! The lady at the front desk (Cristy) by far has been the most rudest person I have encountered. I am a nurse and usually go to other locations but my client was on this side of town the last 2 visits I made. Anyhow, day 1 I got there and signed in for specimen drop off and she was rude but I kept smiling and left assuming she just may have been having a bad day. I have past medical trauma and a very REAL problem with needles. I have been going to this facility for years to get my blood work done. I told the nurse when I went in that she had to use a butterfly needle and that I would be likely to move my elbow back to get away from the needle and that I cannot look at the needle. She proceeded to use a butterfly needle and we got one vial of blood before the needle slipped out. Then she used a butterfly Needle on the other arm but the vein rolled so we got no blood. I was a walk in today at the West Broad location. I went at 9:00 am and was able to be seen immediately. Your clerk was also the woman who drew my blood. She was an absolute delight. Very friendly and engaging. She clearly likes her job. I should have gotten her name but I can’t stop thinking about how great she was at her job. She was excellent and taking blood and a breath of fresh air.
I Don't recomend this place. Labcorp needs to re-evaluate their business practices and properly train their staff or just replace them. They are disorganized, mess up paperwork/orders, even with patients doing their own check in, the person at the front desk is rude and is on their personal phone.
The lady at the counter was pretty rude as well as the guy who I signed the papers with. Made me feel stupid and were extremely bad with their customer service skills. They got it done fast but this was my first drug test and I wasn't sure what to expect and they were the opposite of helpful. I'm sorry you don't like your jobs but no one is forcing you to work there. Thank you!
