I had a decent experience at this location, as there was no wait at all and I just walked right in, but I can second everyone's remarks that the gentleman who took my blood was very gruff and had no bedside manner whatsoever. Definitely would have been a tough experience for someone who is afraid of needles.
If you are a phlebotomist who doesn’t like to talk or smile, this is the workplace for you. I’ve never had a problem getting bloodwork, not afraid of it, but there are people who are. If I was one of those people and had the guy I had today, it would’ve made it a lot harder. The phlebotomist appeared to be angry or at least unhappy with his job. The check-in woman was not rude, but very to the point as well; I’m assuming they don’t go out together for happy hours after work.
Nick and Ally helped me the other day and were great! I had gone to a different doctor who tried to draw my blood 5 different times and failed. I went to Nick and Ally and they were able to do it in one try painlessly!
This morning I was a walk-in at this site. I arrived at 7 am and was finished by 7:45 am. The young girl at the front desk was very efficient and kind. The gentleman that drew my blood was pleasant, friendly and professional. I don’t understand the negative comments he receives in several reviews. Far from a pleasant experience with this location. The male phlebotomist who took care of me was very aggressive from the start. He walks into the cubby (since they aren’t separate rooms with privacy and are DUSTY & DIRTY) no words, does not say hello. Nothing.
