Very poorly run, even an appointment, you will wait in your car for over 30 minutes. Confirmed with my Doctor that they had the order before going, and yet when I got there, they tell me they do not have the order. I had called twice this past week and left messages to try to avoid any inconvenience like this, which neither were returned by LabCorp.
I had a scheduled appointment today. After standing in line for 10 minutes to use the check in kiosk another patron said it was out of service and we should sign in at the desk. You guessed it, there was line at the desk. The waiting area was full and the employees kept leaving to do other things. 20 minutes after my scheduled appointment I was still standing in the middle of the crowded waiting area, I could not get anyone's attention. Very slow service and no one available in information section, just 2 staff are here with a rude attitude and customer service. The business is really hard and big for them.
I think the overall 3 star rating is fair. Since they accept walk-ins there is a wait even with an appointment within 2 hours of opening. There is not enough seating for the amount of appointments they had/walk ins. I cannot imagine what it looks like in the late afternoon. The staff was nice though and took my blood quickly. Labcorp is wonderful, and is so great that they're there - they are fast, and the staff is top-notch! I'm so glad they're there, because a long time ago, I'd simply get my labwork done at my health service, Inova Medical Care. But now you need an appointment to get your labwork done, and there aren't many slots, either(!) It was such a relief to find Labcorp - they are fast, efficient, pleasant and professional.
