I had a scheduled blood work appointment at 7:00 AM this morning. Upon my arrival and check-in, the system incorrectly identified me as a walk-in patient rather than an appointment holder. I attempted to address the issue with the front desk staff member; however, she was extremely rude, dismissive, and unprofessional during our interaction. I had to take my 15 month old to get her blood drawn and the staff were phenomenal. I was nervous but both women made me feel calm. They told me exactly how to hold my daughter so she would be safe and comfortable. My daughter didn’t even flinch. Despite her having tiny veins, the phlebotomist (her name started with a V but I can’t remember it now) got blood on the first stick. It was a quick, easy appointment and I’m very grateful.
As someone who has to get blood work frequently due to chronic illness, this is the best Labcorp location I have been to. Everyone is kind, knowledgeable and makes the overall experience comfortable. I have never had a bad experience here and have never left in pain or bruised. I highly, highly recommend. Thank you so much for being such wonderful people!
