This should not happen to your arm after a simple routine blood test. Very disappointed with my experience at Labcorp.
I checked in at approximately 8:40 for a 9:00 am appointment. I saw the promtpt to wait where I wanted and waited in my car. When I reveieved the text that they were ready at 9:09, I went in. I waited standing bc there were so many other people waiting. I saw the women yelling names out from behind the desk with the glass 90% closed. After waiting an additional 10 minutes, I approached the window and was told they had been calling me. I drove about 30 minutes for this appointment and followed all directions.
It was a bad experience. The employee was not wearing a glove hand. She was unloved and was applying pressure to spot my needle had entered the vein, I hope I haven't picked up an infection.. my opinion, it is essential that the person drawing the blood knows exactly where to insert the needle... Perhaps they need to use special devices to locate the veins
