NOT WALK IN FRIENDLY! I was the second ‘walk-in’ person in line at 6:00am waiting for LabCorp to open (1st person was an older man who ended up leaving due to long wait). I waited 45 minutes (approximately 10-15 people had already gone through), had not been called yet, and I went to the receptionist who then told me that all walk-ins have to wait until ALL reservations are done, and if I wanted to be seen I should have booked a reservation. The staff is wonderful.
Absolutely horrible experience. I had a rude and poorly qualified technician. Didn’t greet me, very cold with her instructions. Fine. Not a big deal. However, this technician (unknown name) hit a nerve while trying to draw blood from my left arm. I immediately said “omg that hurts a lot” because I felt an excruciating jolt of pain all down my arm. Today I had Maria, but I’ve had a lady named Kim and others. But the way Maria looked out for me was exceptional. I have a needle fear and she was calm. One of the best sticks I’ve ever had (besides Kim) and she helped me thru it. I had a lot of blood work today, and she gave me water, let me take a break when I needed to and didn’t rush me. If I could have Maria everytime I’d be a happy lady. The world and lab corp need more Maria’s!
