I showed at 8:25am with no appointment on a Monday morning. And left with enough time to grab a coffee before work.
I got to LabCorp at 7.15am. I didn’t have an appointment. I spend 40 min waiting for my turn. There’s only one person working so the line was moving pretty slow. When it was my turn they said that I don’t have enough blood in my veins, and asked to drink water. After trying to take blood one more time from another arm they failed again, turns out they don’t have the right needle for my veins. This whole experience of being spending 2 hours was a waste of time. Now I need to go to a different lab.
My lab tech was very nice and professional. I was in and out super fast.
I asked two separate times for the phlebotomist to confirm she was taking the correct tests for my provider, one of which has to be taken as soon as possible in the morning and I needed to stop taking important medication for it. She said yes both times, but this wasn’t true. Labcorp has told me they only took labs from another provider and none of the ones I specifically needed that day at that time. Anyone going here probably should make an appointment. Theres one woman working here ( was kind , helpful , and communicative ) . Got here 7:30am and didnt get called until 9 am
