Went in for two labwork referrals. They never returned the results for one and I could not get in touch with anyone about it. The other had insufficient sample to complete all my labs. Now I have to repeat both!
Unprofessional service and poor clinical skill during my blood draw this morning. The phlebotomist rushed through the process, did two quick swipes to clean the area, failed to pull back on the vein, and inserted the needle too deep. This immediately caused a growing hematoma. Rather than stopping, communicating, or offering to switch arms, she rushed through filling 6–7 vials (even dropping one on the floor) without a word of explanation or an apology. I booked an appointment for 4:45 pm and showed up at 4:30 and was refused to be seen because they do not see patients after 4:30 per the women working there. They refused to see me that day. They also stated that the online system allows patients to book appointments for noon when they are at lunch and it shouldn’t. Either staffing needs education on when they are to see patients or the online system needs updated. Wildly unhelpful service. They truly hate their customers. My doctor had sent my lab request over a few days before my visit. They couldn’t find it. They also wouldn’t accept a barcode scan from my phone, which Labcorp does allow. And I couldn’t email them because ‘their email is slow and it won’t go through for hours.’ So I had to get my doctor to resubmit the order. Which they did, and they still didn’t receive it.
