I visited Labcorp’s Stone Oak location a couple of times for blood draws and had a frustrating experience. They required payment in advance and asked for my credit card, yet I was unable to find a detailed bill showing what was submitted to my insurance or how much insurance paid. Charges simply appeared on my card. I never received the detailed bill. When I contacted Labcorp customer service, I was told I should not have needed to provide credit card details. Was told at the check-in window the Stone Oak system was down and they couldn't take blood draws/lab orders. When I went to another Labcorp location this same day, "I asked the employee at the check-in window, "Is your system up and running?" She said, "Yes," with a puzzled face." I said, "I went to your Stone Oak location this morning at 11am and they told me all of Labcorp had been down since 6am." I had an appointment at 6:45 am today 8-25-26. I arrived at 6:25 am. There was two ladies in the hallway. One standing the other in the wheelchair. The young lady in the wheelchair tried the door to Lab Corp and it was locked. At 6:30 am the door was unlocked and we went in.
