The American healthcare system needs more people like Yasmin and Gabby who work at the Palm Springs LabCorp facility. I was told by my Doctor I didn’t need an appointment for Lab Corp so I went to the Rancho Mirage location after fasting for 12 hours only to be told they couldn’t take me without an appointment… No one there bothered to even explain that there was another LabCorp location in Palm Springs. I made an appointment for 8:30 in the morning. I got there at 8:15 and was told I would have an hour to hour and half wait. That is absolutely crazy! I understand maybe 15min or half hour but an hour wait with an appointment??
They could not tell me if my blue shield insurance was good to cover for it because only billing dept handles that, however, they could but DID NOT want to call the billing department or send an email, just a waste of time and horrible customer service this time.
