Waiting room too small for the speed of service. One of the Sign-in kiosk machines not working and in the morning, if you have made an appointment, you are waiting 1/2 hour or more, no appointment you are there waiting for 1-2 hours. I had to make 3 trips in a week due to system being down, line too long and after waiting for over an hour I had to leave for another appointment. Friendly, fast and an easy experience! I had read the negative reviews. What worked for me was to make an appointment (mine was 11:45 on a Tuesday) and to arrive a few minutes early with a positive attitude. I walked in 6 minutes before my appointment time. Two other people were in the waiting area. I used the easy online check-in on my phone, which Labcorp emailed me about in advance. Two minutes later, a friendly technician came and got me. I just finished my blood test at LabCorp (6033 N Clinton St, Fort Wayne, IN 46825). Thank you for following up on this. They were able to take me as a walk-in, and the wait was only about 20 minutes. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the lab technician who performed the draw was very professional. I did notice that while the automated check-in kiosk had some technical issues, the process seems like it will be very efficient once fully functional. I've never been to any place as unprofessional as the Clinton Street Labcorp. The phlebotomist was extremely rude and very unprofessional. The 1st time we went we stood up front for 15-20 minutes before we were acknowledged, while we heard the employees in the back talk about patients, then she had the audacity to say we had 3 minutes and that's it because they closed at 430. It was difficult to find because there was no signage until you got inside another doctor's office. The check-in procedure was very cumbersome. A lab draw tech had to help people get signed in - not a good use of his time. There was no sanitizer anywhere so everyone was touching the same touch screen. The sensor was not working so I'll insurance information had to be entered one digit at a time rather than scanned.
