It’s 3:14 PM and I drove 40 minutes into Pensacola to get very specific lab orders done and they aren’t open. Lab at the hospital isn’t open either. So why does Ascension give you specific lab orders if they won’t help you complete them? It is really disappointing to have to leave a bad review. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. Unfortunately I never received my results and it has been weeks. When you call them they will tell you you have to reach out to LabCorp and LabCorp does not take calls from patients so you have to fill out a form and wait. It caused me to have to reschedule the appointment with my provider who needed the results and delay my treatment. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience at this laboratory location. The posted hours say they are open 7 days a week from 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., yet when I arrived (Sunday), the entrance situation was confusing and no one seemed willing to help clearly. I saw a man being let in through a side/corner door by an older nurse. I then tried entering through the same door as well as the automatic front doors, but neither opened for me. It was fast, courteous, and painless. Best ever!
Every time I go to the lab to get lab work done, they do not send the results to the requesting doctor. Like how hard is it to send the labs where they should. I have to call every time to have them sent.
