The staff seemed a bit dismissive, which made the experience less pleasant. For example, when a patient asked if they were done, the response was, “If your blood was drawn, you’re done,” which felt a bit abrupt. When I asked if my doctor’s orders were needed, the response was, “If I called you, the order is in the system.” These kinds of interactions could be handled with a bit more kindness and patience—it makes a big difference when you're already feeling anxious about being there. Arrived @2:45 before closing time which is @ 3 they didn’t have my daughters blood work referral so I called doctors office to have it faxed to this location around 2:54 doctors office nurse sent it out twice mind you I was in the waiting room and the girl working up front told me if they received the fax after 3 they couldn’t take me any longer it was literally 2:54 I heard there fax machine and she waits till 3 to come out and tell me she didn’t receive anything so she couldn’t take me any longer . I have been to this Labcorp on La Canada many times. They are the best. Professional and efficient and helpful No messing around. I have never had much of a waiting time. The two ladies yesterday were great ! Paulina at the front desk. And Helen who is the phlebotomist. Thumbs up
I went to Quest twice in one day. Despite having an appt. The wait was still over an hour both times! Nothing worse than walking into a room with standing room only! Oh let’s not forget how messed up the check in scanner is. So I remembered LAB CORP was located right under the steps one minute close by walking. When I got there the reception was awesome and took my orders and check in scanner was sooo easy. I didn’t wait more than 2 mins to get what I needed.
