The staff is not very friendly. I checked in for my appointment on time. After sitting for a few and seeing everyone behind me being serviced, I walked to the counter and was told I was a walk in. I had a 10 am appointment slip. It is now 10:45 and I still haven’t been serviced. I want to leave, but the VA schedules these appointments and they are not to happy when I miss.
I've read some of the reviews here and maybe it was a right time right place scenario, but I had no problems throughout my appointment and my phlebotomist was quick, personal,and very thoughtful of my issues with blood draws.
It’s like a government office. They have you do your own registration instead of having a human do it it’s all DIY. Imagine if you’re disabled or blind or can’t stand. It’s just simple poor business practices.
After driving an hour to the location from home and searching the hospital building for the lab location I arrived at the office at 4:40pm and was told to come back tomorrow because their system "doesn't let them take people" after a certain time. Tried to call ahead before leaving home multiple times and no one answered. They were incredibly rude and refused to do their job until closing time.
