I usually am a VERY hard " stick" when it comes to labs. Multiple people usually attempt and stick me multiple times & in the ER they have used an Ultrasound to find my very small squiggly veins. I have never, not once had the experience I had today at LabCorp. The gentleman at the front desk ( please forgive me for not catching your name) ..he was also my phlebotomist. Been waiting for three hours.... Very unprofessional.
I have been going regularly for lab draws for a year. At first they were great! Fast, attentive, worked through complicated orders with you. Generally the staff also seemed happy, which makes a HUGE difference. In the last few months they have lost some staff and haven’t replaced them. Now they are clearly under staffed, wait times have gone up, and the poor staff left seem miserable despite doing their best to keep up. Such a bummer.
