I felt like I'd struck gold finding Bill - it's the sort of service I thought was lost forever. I was resigned to buying a new alternator due to it giving off an acrid burning smell, but when I couldn't source one quickly, I called LA alternators on the off chance they might be able to get one. Instead Bill was able to fix it for a fraction of the price. Definitely one of the good guys!
Bill is very knowledgeable and diagnosed my issue thoroughly on the same day. Unfortunately my alternator wasn’t worth repairing but he directed me to another business which held the correct part in stock (for a 26 year old, rare variant of a car, nowhere else had this in stock). I’ll always use Bill for any future alternator issues now
Fantastic service, A real old school pull it apart and fix it engineer. My 1991 G60 Corrado has sat in storage for some 13 years and I decided to pull it out to fit a new engine in it. I pulled the starter and alternator off and they both needed work. Bill pulled both apart and had them running in no time. New rectifier and service for the alternator and a new solonoid for the starter
