We have purchased La-z-boy furniture for over 45 years. The quality has severely diminished. The company they use for repairs in California are absolutely the worst. US Quality Repair services, I think is the name. Working out of Texas so they don’t pay state taxes. They send out techs who really don’t want to do the job. They keep sending the wrong tech and don’t schedule enough time to do the job, so that’s the excuse the tech uses.
We recently bought a chair at Lazy Boy we had a problem with, After spending 3+ hours on the phone trying to get service I went to the store where we purchased the chair, I told the manager either they get the chair fixed or pick it up and return my money. I was told they cant take it back. Then on [11/20/24] the store emails the service people who then called and set a time for service. Just spent 1,900 2 days ago on 2 new chairs and they are VERY noisy when rocking, not sewn well, there's wrinkles all over it, the other chair is super noisy when it rocks. Piss poor quality. DO NOT BUY LAZY BOY! WISH I SEEN THESE REVIEWS BEFIRE WE SPENT 1,900 ON 2 NEW JUNK RECLINERS!!!!!!
By far the worst manufacturer of furniture. Period. All negative reviews are right on spot, if someone doesn"t understand then its their problem. Cheapest foam used, no resilience. When you sit on recliner, your back feel the wooden frame beneath. Seriously. Cloth on sides of recliner is stretched over hollow frame, nothing on sides, not even cardboard. I'm reading all these negative reviews and don't understand why? I love my Lazy Boy chairs and their customer service. I purchased my chairs in S. Bend Indiana. I recently had a repairman, Rob F, out of Monroe Michigan and he was the best! He even looked at a second chair and fixed it in minutes! I really regret that I didn't give him a tip.
