I purchased a living room set, recliner, sofa, loveseat, swivel chair, lamps, coffee table, end tables, hutch, pillows, bench seat and area rug. The rug is too big for the area and it bunches up and rolls. I had a designer from LaZboy choose the furniture and rug. I told the designer the day of delivery that the rug did not work because of the bunching and rolling. She said give it time. Before purchasing a service “protection” contract, it is advisable to have an attorney review it thoroughly. Last year, my husband and I purchased a high-end La-Z-Boy leather sofa. Unfortunately, we were convinced to also purchase the protection plan and a leather cleaning kit. I filed a claim with ServeCo, the insurance company for the contract, due to a stain on the headrest caused by my husband’s bald head. To my surprise, the response to my claim was unsatisfactory. La-Z-Boy Canada’s leadership shows no female representation, and it shows in the products. Women make up half the population, yet finding a chair, or sofa that fits shorter women (5’4” and under) is nearly impossible. You have seen fit to offer only two chairs to fit the majority of women who are under 5’4”. We hold buying power and deserve to be included in both leadership and design. Comfort shouldn’t be built for men alone. It’s time women were considered.
We spent 2 years looking for a Love seat and a sofa. We went to La-Z-Boy in Reno Nevada. Found what we were looking for or we thought. Spend a lot of money on them. The sofa has 2 recliners and the love seat the same. They were delivered, then things started to happen. Had the warranty guy come out twice on the love seat. Just a run a round. Then he says there is nothing wrong he did try and fix the noice in the recliner its ok. But said it is normal wear. Its less then 6 mo ths old. I also put in a complaint on the cushion ... read more
nice saleswoman, too bad the manager at the Carle Place store is incompetent. just cancelled my 2600 dollar order. Not only was my chair not delivered on time, but it's STILL on the floor for people to sit in and mess it up! NOT what I was told would happen after I paid for it! will never do business there again.
