This is coming late. We had a celebration of life 3 yrs ago. It was wonderful. The place is gorgeous with a lovely terrace. There is limited parking,however but we had enough parking for our guests. A friend of mine had a celebration of life for her mother there that I attended which inspired me to rent this place. I was ecstatic! I highly recommend renting the venue:)

A few things to know if you're hosting an event here: The venue is run by the city and they have agreements in place with a rowing club to use the facilities. You will have people in and out using the bathrooms as if they are open to public despite your having paid for the space. You can call the city office to dispute this but you will have to fight for exclusive use of the space. There is a lot of junk hanging around the downstairs rooms.
