Disappointing I've been to more than one event here, and each time has been the same thing. The food is terrible, cold, and you don't get very much of it. Then there's the issue of cleanliness. The silverware often has stuck-on food. I've gotten glasses from the bar with lipstick on them (GROSS!) The restrooms weren't even that clean. WIth the variety of places to hold parties and events, I'd leave this off of the list. It's just not worth it.
A party to remember We recently had a Confirmation party at LaVera and we have nothing but good things to say. The service was outstanding and the food was even better. They helped us plan the party, giving us great ideas and recommendations. They paid attention to even the smallest details to make the party exactly what we wanted. food at a wedding One of my closest friends daughter had her reception at LaVera party center. I did not like it 30 years ago but I thought that I would give it another chance. It was horrible. There wasn't one thing on the menu that appealed to our entire table. The food wasn't even mediocre it was horrible. I would never go there again.
World Class Catering I wanted to take a few minutes to respond to the 2 negative reviews given by Carmee and Jen. I have been to several occasions at La-Vera Party Center including family weddings. I have NEVER experienced any of the horrible things Carmee and Jen listed. The kitchen is immaculate and open for guests to view (would a place do that if it was dirty). Friday Fish Fry Twenty eight years ago, my wife and I had our wedding reception there. Last evening we went to the Fish Fry they have. Everything was awesome, as usual. Very friendly servers as well. I do have to say however, I believe someone droped the box of salt in the cole slaw. It was so salty and everyone was commenting on it. But more than anything, our group was talking on how good it was. Good going
Highly Recommends La Vera Party Center My daughter's wedding reception was held at La Vera Party Center. They were absolutely wonderful and helped us with everything. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. I am still getting comments from guests about the delicous food, the friendly staff and the great facility. Everyone had a geat evening. Talk about a great wedding Lavera Party center is the only place you need to look at for a wedding reception. They were very kind and helpful with planning all events for my big day.
