Customer Service is least on their priority list Went to La Stella yesterday with a friend of mine to get a spray tan. A day later my friend looked like she had just vacationed in Hawaii for two weeks, and I looked hardly any different. I had people telling me "You got a spray tan? You need to get your money back, because you cannot tell it at all." Lastella sucks LaStella is awful! Myself and three of my friends got fungus infections on our backs from the beds not being cleaned properly! Disgusting! The owner acts like a pervert calling young girls monkey buts and other pet names. He also records conversations illegally. When you walk to your tanning room you can hear conversations being streamed in to the owners office. I asked the receptionist why and was informed that there are microphones everywhere and that everything is recorded. That's an invasion of privacy. I ... read more
La Sucks La Stella WAS a nice place when they first opened...then they were not desperate for money anymore and everything changed. I am not happy with the service and would rather pay honest business owners then shady ones. I paid for services they will not honor because they changed expiration limits suddenly. Keep your receipts here and make sure you read the fine print- dont take their word for it.
RIP OFF! This place is a total rip off- they change their rules and policies at whim. After they receive your money they will tell you that what you purchased has expired. After you purchase gift cards they will then tell you the services only apply to tanning. BEWARE
La Stella is Awesome This salon is by far the best place around. i have been tanning there for a couple of years now and never had a problem. the salon is always clean, the staff is very knowledgeable and nice. the tanning bed bulbs are always being replaced. i have been to other tanning salons in Stockton and they can't even compare to La Stella's atmosphere and prices. i would recommend everyone to go there and have the same experience that i have had!!
LA STELLA SUCKS!! It has the WORST service and the rudest employees. I got a one month unlimited pass for this month because i have an event at the end of april, and it turns out if you dont make an appointment, you cant go tanning. So I call at least 2 hours before they close three nights in a row and they tell me that it is BOOKED and I am unable to go tanning. Now I will not be tan for my event. I HATE THIS PLACE! If i could give it ZERO stars in this review i would! F La stella. Go for planet beach on march lane.
