La nourriture était bonne, mais pas exceptionnelle pour le prix. Les pâtes aux palourdes contenait du sable parce qu’elle avait été mal lavée. Les tomates ancestrales de l’entrée du jour n’était pas assez mures. L’ambiance est festive, la musique est forte alors pour un groupe c’est difficile de s’entendre.
Une expérience exceptionnelle du début à la fin ! Nous sommes allées à La Spada pour célébrer l’anniversaire de ma mère et le mien, et tout a été absolument parfait. Dès la réservation avec l’hôtesse jusqu’à notre arrivée, l’accueil était chaleureux. Nous avons également eu une magnifique table avec une grande banquette, parfaite pour notre soirée. Food is delicious but the service is very rushed. They took away our plates and we werent even done eating. Appetizers came before our wine… everything felt rushed. It’s a shame because the food was really good. Nice atmosphere too.
We went to La Spada with friends and it exceeded expectations. The restaurant has a very unique atmosphere- feels like you are at your Nonas house! Our server, Alec was personable, engaging and very attentive. The food was excellent. We loved everything we ate and the grilled branzino and octopus were the stars of the show. Delicious! And...we could hear ourselves talk. That is rare these days! I highly recommend it!
