We stayed at this idyllic property recently. Such an incredible experience. From the very first conversations we had with Annie the owner, to arriving and being swept away by the peace and serenity of this beautiful home, we were looked after so very well. It is more beautiful and scenic than the pictures show and the pool was wonderful to get into each day. My partner took me here for our anniversary. The place was charming and so peaceful. The fireplace made the home feel even more cosier than it already was if that is at all possible The stone bath was delightful as was the plunge pool on the deck. Easy enough to get to via postman ferry yet so remote. We found that it was easier to contact and book through the owners directly as opposed to a booking website. Fantastic location to retreat away from the hustle and bustle. Easy to get to, a ferry or water taxi ride from Brooklyn. The house has everything you need, just bring what you want to eat and drink. Make sure to take the time to relax in the hammock and watch the sun go down from the boathouse.
Fabulous location and creation, a lovely space to chill-out and recharge
A little slice of heaven nestled away only a stone’s throw from city life. Annie has done a spectacular job creating a retreat that is perfectly optimised for a weekend (or week!) away with attention to every detail. Highlight was the outdoor hot tub - dreamy!
