La Rana is tops! We found the service to be pleasant and competent, and the food outstanding. It was a pleasure to dine in this intimate and congenial setting. Thankfully, we ignored the negative reviews!
Lori Unfortunately I had to give LaRana an unsatisfactory rating, but it was not because of the food, it was excellent! The wait staff was the rudist I've ever encountered, and when we asked to speak to the manager we were rudely informed that it was also her! Unless the waitstaff/manager is replaced or given a lesson in etiquette, we will not return
La Rana La Rana is a unique restaurant, the atmosphere is great and the waitstaff is friendly. Their food is excellent and much of the food is locally grown and produced. The prices are a bit high for Decorah, but go for Lunch where the prices are reasonable and the food is 5 star.
