This was our first time. The experience was absolutely incredible. The service was great and the food was phenomenal. I just came out of a 22 week long hard diet for bodybuilding Competition so I was really craving great food. This was literally my first “non-diet” meal. This was our first visit. We had reservations. We arrived early and had a lovely table by the river window .Our server was great! Thank you Allie. The bread was not good. Two out of three meals came out COLD. We asked the waitress just to stick them in the microwave for a minute or two. It was over 20 minutes later before we had food again. Both of us ordered the pasta with cream sauce and steak. Pasta was delicious. Sauce was lovely. The few bites of steak we had were good, but about half of the steak was gristle or fat. I maybe had 3 bites of steak for the entire dish. I wish I had taken pictures. We also had the bruschetta app and it was delicious. Just very disappointing about the steak. I went here with my mother and sister to celebrate my graduation from college. For reference, we came here on a Saturday night and the restaurant wasn’t even half full, so you don’t really need a reservation. It was our first time here, as we don’t visit LeClaire often. Immediately, the location was nice but the decor was confusing. My wife enjoyed a meal at La Ragazza on a Wednesday evening. Staff were quite friendly and the mixed seafood plate entree as well as the salmon entree were excellent. Well drinks were modifications from standards and we enjoyed those as well, particularly the Black Manhattan. The soup of the day was broth-based which is a nice touch and the salad was both huge and delicious and we took home some of it. Enjoyed the meal very much.
