We booked this to stay for literally 6 hours as we got in late and had to leave early. The front desk nigh gentleman was incredibly nice and were it not for him I’d probably be more angry that I am. The hotel is just filthy. The carpet is not maintained and is covered in stains. When we arrived to our room it smelled strongly of dog feces. It was okay. I am used to a higher level of quality from LA Quinta. It was an accumulation of smaller things; scratches, stains, chips, mismatched paints, etc. So, clearly it's been around and well-used. That being said, at least it was clean and the bed still comfortable. A little too expensive for what you get, but I'd stay again in a pinch.

Wyndham has totally ruined la quinta. La Quinta used to be my go-to motel when I traveled. I have stayed in more than 50 of them. Since Wyndham took them over, I have made them one of my last choices. This motel was no better than a second class motel 6. The carpets in the hall were more stained than unstained. The parking lot what you could call it was broken or unpaved. The room I got is no better than a standard motel 6 room. The reason I stayed here is that motel 6 moved to some other city. Not bad. Not great. The room felt fairly clean and all around comfortable. It was however a bit dingy. The window was broken and we did find a few random bugs in our room…Thankfully they were friendly. 🫣 Wasn’t terrible for an overnight stop, but probably wouldn’t stay again.
