I came to Las Cruces to retire and was in excellent health. I wanted to pay it forward for my excellent transition to Las Cruces and life experiences. I decided to volunteer at the Mesilla Valley Hospice. I am a firm believer in hospice care, and it also allowed me to volunteer in the assisted living section of the facility. I’ve been to several assisted living facilities lately and have been very disappointed. I can tell you that La Posada assisted living is the exception to this!!! Not only is this facility extremely clean, the staff is amazing with their care of the patients. They are always so pleasant and the care they give is exceptional and so professional. I’m so appreciative to have this facility and the amazing staff here in Las Cruces. Cudos to all the incredible staff at La Posada!!!
My sister and I visited 4 different assisted living facilities for our mom after our dad passed away. We already knew we would choose the best, La Posada after our dad had been taken such good care of at Mesilla Valley Hospice, but had to look. This was the absolutely best decision for my mom and us. All of the staff went above and beyond and never made us feel like we were inconveniencing them when making a request, etc. They quickly became family to my mom, showing them her humorous side. This facility is so clean and beautiful. Just perfect for my Papa. He loves it there. The staff is so attentive and so caring. They’ve all been there for years and you can tell they love their jobs. Best facility in Las Cruces.
