Their billing department is a joke. 2 years after an ER visit, when we were on vacation, we are being sent to collections for a measly $169 that we never received a bill for. Now I am wasting my time hunting down the right collections agency to get this taken care of. I would rather drive all the way back to Chicago before entrusting this physician's network with the health of myself or my family. Clearly, this is a second-rate organization that can't handle even the simplest of tasks.

Two months ago I went in for a standard wellness physical with Dr. Avela. My insurance covers one yearly physical, so I scheduled one just to make sure I was healthy. During my physical I had another annual female check done as well. Two weeks ago, I received a bill in the mail that was extremely high. Unorganized ! This office is very poor managment does not follow hippa your information is at jeopardy and people playing on their phones all the time while patients are in need of care ! I know a person that works here an while at work was using online date sights chatting wanted felons on fb , and trying to buy cars with actually my information due to their horrible credit does not have a actual scedual for their office it’s like a free for all in here people with out the right degrees working on your health handling your ... read more
