It’s nice to have someone that you can trust to work on your pool equipment. I met the owner a few years back for an insurance job, and this year when I started to have trouble with my pool, spa and heater I didn’t hesitate to call him again. They fixed EVERYTHING, and for an amount I was happy to have paid. The store’s chemical pricing is better than I expected, and on the items I checked were actually as good as the internet and better than the other pool stores in the area. Would you trust someone who intentionally and sneakily breaks your equipment? During the pool opening, they saw that my heater was not installed according to the code. Safety issue. Great, very important, good to know. But instead of telling me about it, they quietly sabotaged my heater (literally pulled the wire) and didn’t say anything while we were chatting after the job. Terrible customer service. They opened my pool and then tried to sell me a new filter for $2000.00 because I had a rusted nut on the clamp. When I inquired about just replacing the nut I was told since the filter isn’t being manufactured anymore that I had to replace the filter or the whole clamp assembly for $311.11. When I asked again why can’t I just replace the nut and bolt and save myself the $2000 or $311 Brittney told me I was wasting her time. The staff are super helpful they go above and beyond to teach and educate and take their time making sure you get the right part. I have been here a couple times after being bounced around from other pool stores that were not as helpful. Recently we had to replace our pump the service tech(Larry) was super helpful and friendly. They gained a lifetime customer
LA Pools went above and beyond trying to help me find an obsolete part. Several other pool stores wouldn’t even attempt. I will most definitely be going back.
