Lousy customer service. Maybe it’s just a La Pine thing to be gruff, rude and openly disrespectful to customers. Management probably can’t do much better if they’re forced to hire locally as there appears to be a lot of people walking around 97739 whose family trees appear not have branched. Do not bother shopping here. There’s another Ace Hardware just 15 mins north off the Century Blvd exit with staff that are much more helpful and courteous.
This review is for their house brand spray paint, not the entire store. Absolute garbage. I bought a can of safety orange to mark some trees for cutting. I sprayed over a cut line many many times and all I got was a barely noticeable slightly darker brown line on the tree. I sprayed some on a 2x4 on which I'd made some notes in pencil, and it did not cover the pencil marks AT ALL. It was completely transparent. It was like solvent with orange food coloring.
Found everything we needed plus some things we didn't.
