Absolutely loved my experience here! The food was delicious, fresh, and full of flavor, and everything came out beautifully prepared. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and you could tell they really care about their customers. Definitely a restaurant I would recommend to friends and family, and I’ll absolutely be coming back! Celeste was amazing!
I was hoping to have dinner with my son tonight at la Mariposa. We eat here relatively regularly. When I went to sit down in the booth it caved into the seat and I almost fell with it . Food is decent but I give the service a negative 3. When I tried to alert the staff that my booth was broken I was told that they already knew about it and someone was coming to fix it soon. Why they let someone sit in a booth they already knew was broken I can't explain. I used to eat here regularly but never again!!
Food was delicious, guacamole needed extra salt, service was extremely slow and we had to double check our bill multiple times as we found extra drinks were added that we did not order.
Super cute interior, AMAZING food (I am going to go into a food coma after this), great prices, and lovely staff. We chose this restaurant on a whim, and it was a wonderful experience. Wow! Any visitors, I highly recommend. Such a great time! P.S. — the drinks are good too!!
Lyons is a cute little town that is worth the stop, especially for the best cucumber jalapeño margarita! I believe everything at La Mariposa is made from scratch and the menu pulls from all eight regions of Mexico rather than the same six things you get everywhere. If you’re coming up US 36 toward Rocky Mountain national Park, it’s right on Main Street in Lions and worth the detour. I’ll definitely be back!
