My wife and I stayed here for 2 nights. We were very impressed with the hotel, the $10 continental breakfast, the cleanliness and the hospitality of the owner/manager. This hotel was built in 1990 and its character is reflected in the meticulous Japanese design and construction. I was particularly impressed with the wonderful painting and decoration throughout. A highly recommended hotel that is easily accessible by public transport. We used our Opal cards from Sydney on both the TMB train and local buses.
Only bug bear was to have a table to sit at and perhaps a bigger fridge. The free breakfast was continental but very filling. Host was very friendly and knowledge
Nice rooms but a bit dated. Bed was a bit uncomfortable being 2 singles pushed together. Lighting in room was poor. Nice enough for the price. Breakfast could've started earlier. We had to go elsewhere. Bathroom needs a deep clean and leaks water out the door.
