The cashier and staff were incredibly rude. No hello, no thank you, no courtesy of any sort. The server just set our drinks and soups on our table without even acknowledging us twice. We actually said thank you and have a good day to the staff instead. It was apparent that they were having a bad day and it was taken out on the customers. This was my first and last time at La Madeleine.
This is such a nice place with plenty of yummy choices! Come here with my daughter and we love it. The staff is always nice those young people do a great job!
The cashier was completely unhelpful and had no desire to find answers to our questions. The food was underwhelming. The women's bathroom clearly had an old leak in the ceiling that has molded and it looks like all they did was poke a hole to let water drain. Would definitely NOT recommend this La Madeleine.
With many of our familiar restaurants closing, we took the recommendation of relatives who ate here and had a very good experience. After a long day of appointments, we were up for someone else to cook, but didn't want fast food, just a decent meal at a reasonable price. We arrived before 5pm, early to eat for us, but we also didn't want to deal with the later traffic.
