La Louisiane is the best new bakery in New Orleans. Their pastries are delicious, so is their challah. I've been to almost every bakery in town trying to find a wonderful wedding cake and finally found it here. Their head baker is from Poland and knows how to produce wonderful European pastries. This should be a Zagat rated bakery with a five star rating.
This is a wonderful place to enjoy high quality freshly made pastries, sandwiches and pizza. Everything is very good, including the service. The prices are good too. The Spillway sandwich is my favorite. River Ridge is lucky to have La Louisiane Bakery as a place to enjoy.
