Is a great location but not clean
We’ve just departed from our three night stay at this location. The room was adequately priced for what we experienced. The staff were very responsive to our questions when we first checked in, and very politely met our needs. We like the location as it is off of the main drag, and it does have easy access to the beach. The lodging and room are dated, definitely 80s early 90s; the decor was great and it had a beachy feel. One of the best places you can stay on South Padre Island! I love it! I go twice a summer every year and I’ve been going there for over seven years.
I gave it four stars because the location is great. Our condo was dated but the beds were comfortable. We had a bad rain storm while we were there and water was leaking through the patio doors quite badly. We left a day early because of that.
