I ordered a dozen pork tamales after reviews said they were some of the best in san antonio. I was disappointed. Mine were very dry. Maybe I got a bad batch. Oh well.
Awesome tamales shop! Needed tamales for Christmas and they helped me big time with it. The place is clean, great people working there, and reasonably priced for their dozens and individuals. This tamales shop deserves the high rating it has!
I will buy again from this establishment and I will tell you why! These were a bit different from what I have normally eaten and they were fresh. Okay, then I saw a tamale video short of various other tamale businesses. I went to the ones that were suggested. I asked for warm thinking they were fresh. Nope, they were frozen at one time and thawed. One can tell, not to mention the outrageous prices. I have come away from my experience knowing I will buy from this business again and if nothing else I will learn to make them.
