Definitely hit this spot to kick off or wrap up your trip to the Keys. I got a couple sides— black beans, white rice, sweet plantains and tomato slides and it was SO unbelievably flavorful and perfectly cooked. With a little Cuban coffee?! Come onnnn. Wish I could eat this for brunch every day!! I bet their ropa vieja is dynamite, will try it next time for sure.
The ladies are very nice! And the food is authentic and speaks for itself. While we were in the keys only for two days, we stopped here twice, that's how good it is.
Great little Cuban food truck in the keys. A few picknick tables under a tent. For the price it's a big sandwich and the sweat fried plantains were great.
This was so delicious. We got the oxtail meal, Cubans sandwich, tostones, and empanadas. I asked for help choosing a typical Cuban dish, and she provided excellent advice and thoughts about the dishes. She offered us a sample so we would know whether or not we wanted a whole dish of it. I loved the oxtail, and the portions are pretty big. Me and my mom split one and we could not finish it.
Incredible coffee, delicious breakfast and reasonable prices.
