About this business
The La Grange Railroad is committed to "Bringing Railroad History to Life" We are a history museum and also have a model train area on the lower level for kids AND adults. We are housed in the 107-year-old La Grange Train Depot building. We now have completed Phase 1 of our Educational Park at the museum. The Educational Park is there to greet visitors 24/7....

This place is amazing, between all of the history and the knowledge the volunteers possess, it's definitely a must visit
Great place to take the kids
We had a great tour here with volunteer, John. He was knowledgeable & so great to our sons. The facility & grounds are excellent! Highly recommend.
This stop was a highlight of my winter trip to the Louisville area. Three very friendly and personable employees provided a full tour of the learning center main floor, the large and very impressive model train collection downstairs, and capped by Ken walking me through the restored caboose and 1929 dining car outside on the tracks.
